    Head Work

Hello everyone, who do all recommend to do a vavle job 4 my 82 gs1100e, I don't want no port work and I am on a budget. So far S&K Racing is the cheapest at $180 for 16 valves for both 3 angle and radius.

I guess you need a valve job or you wouldnt be considering one. Usuallu the main problem with these heads is not the valves but the old worn guide seals.

      $180 total?
Including parts and mill work? Pretty reasonable.

Also ask them to "deck" the head and block.
This will elimnate any warping on the head and block making a nice a
      nice snug fit.

But remember, you get what you pay for. The cheapest price doesn't always end up being the cheapest price.

It is going to need guides. Now you are considerably over $180.00

We use FBG for all of our head work. I had them do a simple SERDI valve job over the winter for me. I think it was around $400.
