78 GS750 Suspension
I still have the stock suspension on my 78 GS750. I wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations on some aftermarket suspension that I caould get.Tags: None

I've heard nothing but great things about "Progressive" shocks and fork springs. I'm just waiting till next spring to upgrade my 1100 with them.
A good place to see what they have for your bike is www.denniskirk.com

My '78 GS750 fork springs were useless when I bought her. I replaced them with some Progressive suspension springs and the ride improved 100%. I used to feel ALL little bumps and cracks in the road (jolts!..ouch!). After the new springs, they are soaked up and almost gone. I feel as though the bike is a tiny bit taller as well. I also changed out fork oil (20weight). Definately worth the $65.

I've used progressive fork springs and heavier oil on several bikes with great results. For rear shocks I'd look at either Progressive or Koni's.
