Which has better performance?

Those Star Racing filters look a lot like the ones I bought from Pingel last year, about the same price too. The ones I got ARE K&Ns, minus the label, I compared them side by side, and after losing one K&N I mounted the no-name ones, and there were no mixture changes. So if it looks like K&N, performs like K&N, I'm guessing it is K&N.

As for carb fitment, these were on my RS38s, but, I used a K&N off a stock set of CV carbs from a GS700 while I was waiting for the new ones to arrive. They fit fine, which tells me the "RS Only" line is incorrect, they would work on most CV carbs.
