Where is the starter located at on a '83 gs650? What is the easiest way to go about getting it off?

Under a cover on the crankcase located under the bottom of the carbs. You have to pull the carbs to get to it. Remove the cover then just pull the two bolts that hold the starter in place and it's out. Make sure you disconnect the battery before pulling it out.
