And we can't buy them. The whole world DOES hate America.

Nice looking ride ya got there.

I ride, therefore I am.... constantly buying new tires.

                Thanks...

Thanks for the great replies everyone... Sometimes I feel left out over here, 98% of the Americans that ride are either on Harley's or crotch rockets so I usually ride with the Okinawans...

Yep, there are a few Jarheads mixed in, we all ride together! Okinawa has really changed, one who hasn't been here in 15+ years would be suprised at the changes...

                    Welcome

It's good to have a GSR member who actually owns one of these bikes.

Great looking bike! We're all very envious because they won't sell them here. For many of us, this is the ONE bike we would buy in a heartbeat. I can't imagine what their reason(s) are for not selling it here??
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

They are actually stopping sales of the GSX and several other big bike next year in England also. Something about they will not be able to meet the new emission laws over there. I believe the main reason they along with Yamaha XJR's are not sold in the US is because of poor sales on naked standard bikes. Years ago when Honda released the CB1000 "Big One", sales were much lower than expected. About the only naked bike that has seen decent sales in recent years is the Bandit. Of course, you have the new KZ1000 but it resembles more of a crotch rocket without fairings than the true Naked Standards... If I decide to come back to the US when I retire, I thought about trying to bring mine, their is a guy out west who managed to get one back, here is the link...

Go to GSX1400 visitor bikes page 6 and the last entry down is a GSX1400 in Casper, I am assuming Wyoming.

                          His pic is awesome!
Unfortunately, the big GSX would be competing head-on with the Bandit here in Canada...but not in the U.S., as the bandit is'nt being sold there anymore I believe.
