I am looking to replace my coils on an 83 1100e. I am having some trouble finding prices online. I don't have a lot to spend and the cheapest ones i found were dynatek for around $150. Is there any cheaper out there?

Go Ebay, look for late model Bandit, Katana, or GSXR coils. The latest GSXR coils where the coil is built into the plug cap won't work. You can usually pick up sets for about $30 on Ebay.

Pretty much any Dual tower 3.0 ohm coil will work. You can find used Dyna and accell on ebay sometimes, but the prices tend to be a bit high. I'm not sure but you might be able to get away with running the 2.2 ohm coil that Honda used back in the early 80's. I do know that they can handle the 3.0 ohm coils, but don't know about putting them on a bike that was shipped with 3.0 ohm coils.

Were you looking to go back stock, newer Suz, or aftermarket?
