    91 Katana 600 Front on a 80 1100e?

I just saw a nice front end from a 91 katana 600 would that be compatable with my 80 gs1100e? Or is it to small?

Just did a cross reference of part numbers and they use the same steering head bearings. (wheel bearings too) soooo... I would say that it is a possiblity that it would fit, as long as the stem on the lower triple trees is a simular length, (they should be) I'll go out and see what the length of head stock on the frame on mine is and if your's is the same, that will tell if it would be possible to do the swap. I'll post it up when I can get it measured. Went out and the head stock on frame at 7in. top to bottom, fork leg length was top of tube to middle of axle, 31.5 in. that is with one inch longer (than stock) pre-load spacer in fork tubes (called $1 mod on kat riders forum) and bike on side stand. Had to modify instument mount and mount for ignition switch (had to use my 750's, fork from e-bay did not come with one) speedo cable is very short too, had to swivel drive unit on axle counter-clockwise and route cable straight up in front of brake calipers.
