You should post some of your Photoshop bike ideas - I'd love to see them. :-D

    Same as in the house...
She just sits there while I thumb my beard and dream of what I can do to make her look better, and ride better.

Did I just SAY that?! Did I actually say that?

Working on restoring my buddies VF500 for his school project - he calls me his "expert mentor". HAHAHAAAAA HAAhaa.
And still trying to decide streetfighter or stock resto with mild breathing mods.

      Getting there....

Finally an update from my end. Since my crash wiped out my front end, it's time to upgrade. As you can see by the photo, i have the new frontend in, and i've mocked in the rear (still needs spacers)

      Cheers

While I have the motor apart for oil leaks,I am having the top end freshened up. Port and polished, new valve seals, new rings, possibly some stainless brake lines and re-install the oil cooler.
        Plus mounting a 1150 fairing onto my 83 GS1100E

My boat is 18 ft. long and there is enough room to work on my bike and have a workbench in the back behind the boat plus its heated. If the boat was gone I would have more room for bikes.

What, no mono shock? I thought all you guys were doing this now days.

I have been thinking about a new paint job for my bike. I wanted to get rid of the large hole in the fairing where the starter cover pokes through before I did anything with it.

This weekend I got my hands on a spare cover to chop up. The paint was a bit too glossy to get any good shots but you get the idea.

Hell no. I like the twin post shocks... if only i could justify the price of Ohlins for it...

I don't have a garage, but my sweet older neighbor couple let me use theirs.

They are from Punjab, awesomely hospitable, totally adorable, and make killer spiced tea that I have yet to get the recipe for, but when I do, I just might post it.

Lot's of big plans for all my scooters.

The red hot rod gets a Kerker header scored on ebay, carb rebuild & jetting, and a 530 chain conversion. For looks she gets a fairing on the front end and a custom seat.

The GS1100 gets a head gasket replaced, valve job maybe, V&H pipes, carb job. Maybe I'll paint the fairing to match the bike.

The new toy, '78 GS1000C will be returned to stock as much as possible. The custom seat goes to the red hot rod. The V&H goes to the 1100. I have a very good stock seat, and a beautiful set of stock pipes. She will also need side covers, but that's about it.

Then I gotta start ebaying all the other stuff to fund my projects.

Not so much the garage as just under a tarp in the drive way

my GS400L project. she runs but she's no where near legal (What, you need wheels??? and BRAKES??)

my other, although definately not in my garage, winter project of mine, is an engineering Concrete Toboggan. Thats 300lbs of specialy mixed concrete (mainly portland cemment) and 7071 aluminum, carrying 5 mildly intoxicated Canadian engineering students down a blue run at a ski hill. This year the Great North Concrete Toboggan Race, GNCTR, will be in Manatoba.

If you are interested at all, check out http://www.eng.mcmaster.ca/toboggan/
there should be at least a few pictures up of last year's toboggan.
