The angle the pipe comes out of the head in that pic is greater than the gs1100 head. That was one of the issues when I tried to fit one.
Does anyone have a pic of one on a gs1100 engine? I would love to find one that works for my bike.

Katman .........pics were posted to show that the downpipes in your own pic is totally different to stock bandit ones & i said i doubted it would fit a bandit so i guess as its so different its not a bandit pipe which would explain why you cant get it to fit
looks more like the exhaust of a water boiler to me mate

Here in the uk i'd look to one of the aftermarket parts suppliers such as
http://www.mandp.co.uk/ or http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/
i'm not sure wether they ship to the usa but theres plenty of choice there to give you some idea's
for preferance i'd look at the acroprovic exhausts first as the quality is a cut above the rest imo & they have the spring fittings, not a cheap option if you find you need to mod it though

Fellas, I went to the suzuki dealer to check out the Bandit 1200 exhaust. It had simular downtubes as the GS1100 and went into a 4 pipe collector with two on top and two on the bottom again simular to the V and H exhaust for the GS so I cant see it being much help in freeing up any ground clearance. Now the GSXR exhaust has a different configuration with the 4 into 2 into 1 which has the 4 exhust pipes almost flushed with the bottom. Now I can see this helping with clearance issues.Last edited by Guest; 03-28-2008, 03:34 AM.
