I wouldn't worry...he's definitely on it. With all of us wanting to spend $$$ on his product....he's not going to give the green light untill its 100% quality.
SO HURRY UP ALREADY!!!

piggyback update
gents,
We have completed all testing for both prototypes of the newly minted GS spec VIPEX shock and at this point there are certainly some positives to report but not entirely. As with the Honda CBF pieces the manufacturing quality is first rate, as is all associated fit and finish. Unfortunately after some track and road testing we are not 100% satisfied with the result. The valving seems to be a tad off as does the the spring's rate of progressive wind. I am passing along to you to observations made by our test riders and myself. On the positive side of things I am not quite ready to release a product that you will not love - we want everyone satisfied here. The downside - we need to tweak the valving and spring rates to get it right. It wont be much longer as the factory already has the specs for the modified valving and the new spring rate. In other words the new new prototype is in the queue.

Thanks for the update Brian,
One thing occurred to me while reading your post. I can acknowledge the great thing your doing for the rear suspension on these old bikes but where do you find a test bike thats not all F'ed up in the front end ?
Waiting patiently...82 1100 EZ (red)
