Cam Chain Guide Replacement
I have a 1980 GS1100E with a 1166 Kit, V and H Header, and a stage 3 jet kit with pods. The other day I purchased a new Cam Chain Guide from APE but when I went to replace the worn out one I was no sure how to remove it from the barcket that holds. The pin that holds it in place seems to be a permanent connection. Before I start to work on it I would like a little advice about the process. I do not want to destroy the old unit thinking I know what I need to be done. Thanks for the help!!!!

On mine I just put it in a vise and used a punch the same size, a couple taps and it came right out.

I do not have a home computer and my work computer will not allow me to load anything. As for the Chain Guide I thought that all I needed to do was punch it out or if needed drill it but I thought I would ask before I started the work. Thanks for all of the help!!
