So on the C's, they're the same thickness, right? Both same 6mm.

Finally caught up with this thread, and i have 0.02 to throw in the ring. The single disc caliper might have a bigger piston than the dual disc, as well as a bigger disc. I know mine did. I switched my GS650GL over to dual discs from a single. I used a donar GS650G, same year. I know the master cylinder was smaller (displaced less fluid) the caliper piston was bigger, and the disc was bigger. I do not have the measurements from this, as it was last winter's project, but if you have a similar thing going on, I would be hesistant to ride it that way. I see a difference in braking forces being applied to each side of the wheel, and it seems as though it will make the bike pull to one side under braking. Maybe not.
Other thing that I want to mention about is the disc, wheel, disc stackup. I got lucky in that I did not have to change the trees between the GL and G model. There are some model that switching trees is necessary to run dual disc, due to increased stack-up width.
FWIW, I picked up all the parts needed to perform my conversion for less than a 100 bucks off EBAY.

Good grief, Billy. Did you not learn anything from reading my seemingly endless brake threads? Are they really that boring?

So I was running some steel wool over my paint prepped tank and noticed a pinhole.
The search feature advised having a rad shop coat it. I happen to know a rad shop owner and we've horsetraded. He needs help getting his bike ready. i need a coated tank.
It really sux though, because other than the hole, there is no internal rust that I can see. I hate to coat it fot tht one, (or maybe more) hole.
