Attached is the latest and greatest pic of my project. '78 GS550 with a GSXR running gear. See what ya think. It is a long way from done, but you get the idea. Still not descided on a tank yet (the one on it is not quite done).

What part of the bike is a gs550?

Yep, it is a 750.

What part is a GS550? Frame, gas tank (which may get changed out to a GS400 tank), headlight, clutch perch and lever, rear inner fender, battery box, and part of the tach mount.

It has an 81 (I think) GS1100 swing arm, CBX Honda rear shocks, frontend wheels and brakes from the Gixxer, custom tail section / seat, Ninja rears sets and now has a Trimuph tail light.

That is about all I can think of now. This thing has been about a year in the making (including a complete engine rebuild) and finally got it fired up the other day. All I need now is a battery and set of tires and of course to finish the tank. Should make a fun little bike to run the back roads on.
