Lots of places sell cast, billet, Carbon fiber, There is now a company selling acrylic plastic wheels. There are places that build wire wheels for vintage and flat track racing that are very light. Check Kosman racing products or Storz racing. Remember the lighter the wheel the higher the cost. The same goes for brakes too.

Ok everyone lets leave this thread alone I know it was dumb; and will not do it. 8-[ I was just curious. Ive been riding two and a half years now... Actually I finally got some ss brake lines installed on the front and Im very happy to say...I have brakes that work!!:-DComment

Throw on a 2000 or newer rear brake. change the whole rear wheel to a newer alum light one and LIVE!

That about sums it up. I hit it when coming to a complete stop, low-speed manuevers, and to scrub speed off in turns (trail braking).Its a finesse tool, not a brute stopping tool.
