Finally read the article on db.com. I had no idea they were still running these old heaps. They talk about 20 years old but I was thinking with the 2 valves, it was going back a bit further. Very insightful.

I'm 2 seconds off the pace and shy 50MPH. Put's what the pro's do into perspective.

BTW, u get the clutch info I sent? Let me know if u need weight numbers.

Crap I can't remember what the rule was before but was it 80 cu. in. for the 4 valve heads and 101 for the 2 valve and now they are the same? The weights are all the same but the H.D.'s get 160 cu. in.?

The new "busa" motors will be entirely aftermarket and have Suzuki part numbers. It will be wider than an oem busa engine to acomodate 100mm pistons. The billet stroker cranks will live much longer than the billet roller bearing cranks they now run.

Won't see any running this year.

There will probably be an aftermarket 4v head soon.

I think 100mm pistons would do nice on a 100mm stroke then add a little fuel injection to top it off.

I had an old video tape of an old "NHRA today" back when it was on TNN with a piece on it about her and her husband back when she had just started bracket racing. I'm gonna look to see it I still have it laying around here yet.

Superbike Mike did that a long time ago.
