GSXR wheels on a 82 gs1100e
I know you can mount up the rear, but are there any way to mount the front without swapping to the GSXR forks? The reasoning is that I have aftermarket brakes already which includes custom brakets for my stock forks I just wanted a wider tire in the rear and to have more choices for tire selectionTags: None

If you are going to do this to use a three spoke, post 1988 17 "rear wheel why not consider the 1988 model gsxr 1100j three spoke 18" front wheel. It will take a 110/80 x 18 radial tyre and maintain the ride height at the front better than an 17" rim. As it is narrower you will probably get away with using the early gsxr front discs with the standard aircooled model forks and mudguard by the use of new caliper mounting brackets.
