Hey, this is a big help! So, to clear this up, in the top picture, is that the jet laying off to the side? If so, does it look like the top picture or the bottom one? Does the line say who it was made by and maybe a PN on it?
I was looking to mount some foggers on mine in place of the early 80's stuff I have now. Problem is getting things to fit. There is no way I can bend the SS lines this tight. I use very small jets (around 20) so I wonder if I can stuff that line in there and make it work.

The top pic is the funnel jet and yes the funnel jet is off to the side on my pic. The line's can make some tight turns and I'd probably have the same problem if I went with SS too.
I bought my line from Schnitz's about 40 bucks, they have alot of nos stuff and since they are close to you it should get to you in a day or two.

Thanks. I see what your talking about. Looks like some of it is NHRA approved (does this mean it's any good?). I may end up just changing the whole setup. Need to think about it over winter and see if I can come up with something better.
I think the old girl is ready for a new front slick this year....Last edited by Guest; 12-18-2008, 12:23 PM.

Its a standard Magura throttle. When I took it apart it looked like it was made for a switch. I just took a dremel tool and cut a slot for the switch. The throttle is just the right width. There is already a cam on it. I don't use the spring tang that was on the switch. I just took it off so the cam rides right on the button. I just drilled two holes in the side to bolt it into place. Very solid and a lot better than what my friends are using.
I had not looked when I did mine but it looks like Paul is making them. Adds $80 to the cost!!! Pays for the dreamel kit and switch.

Thanks, I got the same throttle too. I think the one with the switch is 100 bucks so this is worth a try.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

The bike is apart right now and I'm done for the year so if you would like some close up pictures of it let me know. I got the switches from Digi-key.

Very nice Bob.
I have all my video on an external hard drive that sits on top of my computer case. I kicked if off the other day accidently. Hit the ground hard enough it only clicks when I turn it on. I only keep the tapes so all my racing from the year is on that hard drive. Gonna have to figure out where to take it. See if I can save it.

I keep all my pics double backed up like that, but not the video.
I like the last goose vid. It really sucked me in. I knew what was coming near the end.

Ryan, there are companies that do this, however they normally charge even if they are unable to recover the data and the cost is very high. I can offer to look at the drive for a free copy of this years video, but I doubt I could do anything for it. Once the media is scratched its normally over. If you get to the point where you feel you have nothing to loose with it, drop me a note.
I have not been doing much with the bike. I started to work on some Windows software that will talk to the old DynaTek datalogger. The guys at dragbike.com have been very helpful in giving it a home. If you have one of these old DOS based loggers, you can download a free copy of my beta software at:
I bet you can guess what the picture is. The plan will be to run this next year. This should help prevent any fuel starving. Well that's if I can finally turn it up higher.
I also picked up a new set of tires. The cracks that were in the last picture I posted were making the wife a little upset. Turns out the 17" tires are still alive and doing well in the 125cc road race circuit so it was no problem to get a new one.Last edited by Guest; 12-18-2008, 12:23 PM.
