EDIT: Stay away from the '88 gsxr 750 front ends. 1100 front ends are fine, but the 750's from that year were the shortest of all. You'll be scraping/denting your header pipes on speed bumps.....

wondering about swingarm replacement.

Trying to get a 5.5" gsxr rim from 89-95 on my 83 gs750e. i have a 95 gsxr750 rear swing arm, and a 92 katana 1100 swingarm setup to choose from, any idea on which is the better one the 95 seem to have extra support on the top.

Well I did it. I have a nice 88 gsxr1100 front end coming:-D. I also have the wheels, rotors, front stabilizer and a set of braided front brake lines coming as well. Now I have to order all the stuff from Racetech for the front end. I think I have everything for this winter other than tires. I am looking forward to the swap and seeing the diffrence next spring.
