I got an e-mail yesterday to call in. I left CC info on voice mail and Autumn left message later that the Su143 should ship today(or very soon) and she will confirm with a tracking #.
I'll let you know when I receive them and pic's of what they look like :-D.

Got my HO140s last night just wanted to thank you again for setting up the buy and getting us a great deal.
I went with the Honda units to gain an inch of ride height. The forks on the bottoms of the HO140 shocks are 19mm wide vs the GS shocks which are 22mm. No biggie I'll just shave 3mm off the shock bushings on the swing arm. The top eyelet is a little different also but should be easy to convert. Can't wait to see what the change in ride height does to the handling.

Is there anyway to still get in on this deal? I need a set of shocks for my 80 GS1100e, and although 450 is more than I budgetted, I can't really pass up a set of Ohlins for that price. Please let me knowComment

Thank you very much. While there was a little wait, the transaction went smooth as silk. Arrived today with UPS ground brand spanking new.
Bad ,Beautiful and Black springs. I think someone else coined the term "functional art". That is not an overstatement :-D
Planning on putting them on the GS1100ED but it will still be a while. I might get impatient and swap them temporarily to the GS750EX

I haven't had much time to get on the boards lately as work has had me running around quite a bit and the rest of my time has been devoted to family. So anyway, I did call and found out that the list was still being worked but I'm pretty sure that everyone who got a confirmation email from me has been taken care of by now.
If there are still people hanging that haven't got a call yet, let me know as you may be on the next list. As for the next list, I will be sending confirmation emails to those I have on it right now tonight. If you don't get one, resend your info as I probably don't have it. I say that because I seem to remember more people on this list but can't find the emails. My emails tend to get filtered a lot to keep the junk at bay and sometimes it filters the good stuff. Anyone else that wants in, shoot an email to longej (at) roadrunner (dot) com. Put the shock (SU143) in the "to" line and your last name. In the message body place your first and last name, your screen name, your contact phone number, contact email, shipping zip code, and rider wieght. I will send out confirmation emails as I recieve them - if you don't hear from me in a week, PM me and I'll check my junk folder.
An improtant note is that these shocks may be going up in price a little because we have to do another production run to make them available. Japan usually snatches up what we don't sell, but there is still an increase in cost we have to deal with. Last time it was supposed to go up too but it didn't so I'm hoping it doesn't this time either, but each time I get the same warning as with each production run price adjustmens can happen. Having said that, if it does happen it's probably not going to be a big increase - perhaps as much as $25.
