    1100 pistons in a 1000

Can you use a 16 valve GS1100 pistons (72mm) in a 79 GS1000 if you bore out the cylinders? The wrist pins have different part numbers but this might be length and not diameter.

no u cant use the 4 valve per cyclinder piston in a 2 vavle per cyclinder motor, they did make a 2 valve gs1100 and im pretty sure u could use those.i cant understand why u wouldnt just use a wiseco piston kit to make your 1000 an 1100
