Added some go to the GS1100. really steps up the 1/4 mile. Not bad for a bike that was new back in 83. 68" inch wheelbase streetbike. sorry for the cell phone timeslip pic. it says 1.42 60ft. 5.72 in the 1/8th @ 129 1/4 mile 8.78 @ 157 mph.

It is an extra 75 shot. 330 was a 3.82 I guess it makes around 230 RWHP on the juice.
off spray it's a 9 sec. bike. To make the bike really start running fast I had to break down and buy a really good head "The" most expensive part I bought for the bike.
The old GS is a money maker but those in the "Know" know what they can do. I actually own a Turbo Busa too but it's apart getting a undercut Trans. right now. I have been eyeballing the new B-King. I sat on it today. All I can say is the tanks wide.Last edited by Guest; 11-17-2007, 11:23 PM.Comment

Wow 75 is big. I'm just starting with a 36 shot and that hauls, can't imagine a 75.

32 degrees the Dyna 2000 will pull out a preset amount of timing I think it has four modes and I have it on the one that pulls the most out. Plus I have it activave the retard mode when the starter button is pressed to help with cranking. The 2 dial Schnitz box starts at 28% and is over 1.5 sec. I might be wrong on the static timing but it's close. with the Dyna 2000 you can set the static timming with the bike not running plus it has a biult in timming light.Last edited by Guest; 11-18-2007, 12:16 AM.Comment

8.78 is a good number But... A lot of the newer bikes can surpass that time with just simple bolt on's and a dry nitrous kit. The GS engine took A LOT of modification to reach that time. Could have bought a used newer bike for what I spent on it. I just like it. I biult it myself and it's got character. \\

Just older ones, I took all the body work off of it last night and I pulled the swingarm off today. I will get some more good pics when it goes back together. I need to clean all the wiring up. It works fine but needs to be a little bit more tidy.Comment
