Convert Gsx750 To 1100

i have a 1980 gsx750 which i'm going to use for classic endurance.i would like to convert it to 1100 can any one tell me if i can use the 750 bottom end?.or which parts are compatible?.any tips would be appreciated!.

Do you have the entire 1100 motor? If so, go for a 7/11.

Just get an 1100 motor & put it in. The top & bottom ends of the 2 have some swapability but NOT enough to make a combination of the 2. The strokes are different as are the bearing style of the 2. The cams & rockers, trans & oil pumps are compatible. The heads WILL interchange but don't work well on the opposite engine. You will be happier if you just put an 1100 or 1150 ENTIRE engine in.
