Roadrider AM26 is far superior in my experience.
But anything is better than what you have.

I just bought 3 sets of AM26's looking forward to trying them out! They are coming from Arizona. About $150 set.

Very sticky, modern tire technology in a non-radial package.
Very nice handling, very secure on wet - dry - gravel - sand - and crap roads.

Second on the Demons. Worth every penny. If they have your size tires the Dunlop Elite III's are also supposed to be excellent and should get you more miles per set. I just got my first set of III's on my 1100 but have not tried them out yet. Have you upgraded your fork springs and shocks yet? That IMO is a must for safety. You will be amazed at the difference in handling and stability from the upgrades.
