    It's 3/8".
Well I went to Autozone and saw they carried the Spectre line but the shortest they had was 3 feet. I figured I would buy it and cut it in two and use the rest as an actual fuel line.

Instead I used the whole length and routed the line almost to the end of the exhaust, Behind where the passenger foot peg connects to the frame. Hopefully now when I ride, I won't smell like a refinery afterwards. (or at least less than I used to.)

Will this vent line get hot enough to worry about what it's touching?

Ray says if you want to put a return back to the engine that you should tap into the engine case above the clutch basket and run the return there
      .

I got this answer from Ray later. I agree, I was just making sure that if I do get the container I selected, I could go to a sump return later but it is probably unnecessary. The PO on my GS1100 just had the K&N breather hanging just above the pods. It had a little oil residue but it is not like it was any major blow by problem.
