DK doesnt list the 850 in the pull down menu what exhausts would fit and be quality? lookin into a V&H 4-1 DK has 2 of em listed for the 750 ones $200 (drag) ones $350 (street)

Early 750 and 850 take the same pipe but Suzuki changed the exhaust hangers in rear for '82 so the early pipe is not a direct bolt on. Not sure what to suggest.Ed

is there a know how to debaffle the stock pipes? probly sound god awefull or super loud anyone have an exhaust on their 82+ 850??Comment

I have considered but not done it. The preferred method (that I have seen) is to take a length of rebar, at the back of the baffle (looking in the pipe) is just a circular piece of metal spot welded in place. Put the rebar against it, pop a couple times with a hammer and it will foild back, voila, straight pipes. rejetting, loss of low end, loud as hell... yadda... yadda... yaddaOriginally posted by kilog55 View PostComment

yeah cause i dont seem to be finding anything for an 82 850.
i have seen for 80-82 750 and 80-81 850. 2 different part numbers the 750 pipe is 12001 and the 850 is 12009.
perhaps a call to V&H is in order to be doubly sure i just wan that sweet piped inline 4 soundComment
