    V8 motor in your frame

I think this looks like a nice project, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEkiYJ9GH2U

The sound should get those BMW riders slightly impressed.

Nice project. Home grafted engine. He's got a few (hundred) machining hours tied up in that engine project for sure. Way more interesting that shoving an american V8 in a bike chassis.

Very cool! I hope he invests a few more hours to get some wider/more modern rubber on it though.

Yea that tire isn't gonna hold up to all that torque

But if your looking for a production v8 muscle bike, boss hoss makes a 350 and a 502 bike

That sounds amazing. You know I think the old V12's in the Jaguar XJS were only 4.3 or 4.6 L, something like that. I wonder how that would work in a bike frame.

What I want to know is what the heck did that motor start out as? The carbs and top ends look like motorcycle bits, perhaps Honda?

It looks like a true OHC Hemi the way the plugs go into the heads between the cams.

What is a "true OHC Hemi"? As far as I understand, every Japanese four cycle ever built is a "Hemi", or shall we say, has a hemispherical combustion chamber (five valve Yamaha heads excluded if you want to be picky).

It is cool but it sure didn't sound like it was running on all 8! Ray.

                        what cc?

while it is a v8 i wonder what cc it is
if it's made out of two honda engines, it may be no more than 1500cc
                        the engine seems comparatevly small
i like the rear tyre being oem, and not some modern wide 250 or something, makes the bike that more retro ( = cool )
