more 750 to 850 ??
So i was told by helpful memebers on this site that a 78 750 and a 79 850 can swap barrels and pistons, but does that mean you can use the 750 connecting rods and all the other internal stuff or do you need 850 stuff. and also would the 750 exhaust and carbs still work fine for the 850 barrels??

would i need to get a bigger set of carbs to handle the gas intake of the 850 performance, or would i just wanna go cv carbs instead of my mikuni?? -
It's all the same except the cylinders and pistons, all of it fits.Comment

Carbs on early 750's and 850's are VM's - same size if I'm not mistaken. Not sure about jetting through.
On Basscliff's site he has both the 750 and 850 manuals, if you downloaded both manuals you could easily check to see how the jetting differs, if at all.Ed
