    Pipe 4 my 700e

Guys I have an oppurtunity to get an 87 gsxr 750 head pipes. Will they work on my 700e????? Thanks!!!:-?

From what I understand ............... that GSXR pipe will fit the exhaust ports no problem. The issues you might have to deal with is:
    1) Do the head pipes have enough clearance to go around the underside of the engine & frame without binding up against them and
    2) You will probably have to come up with some sort of bracket to attach the muffler section to the back end.

If you're just getting the headpipes - getting them to fit to the stock 700 mufflers might be a major machining headache...........I couldn't say for sure so hopefully someone here can cause I'm real interested to doing the same for my 700.

YES, they bolt right on. I am guessing you are going to fabricate the rest of the system? Ray.

Either way, let us know what you find out!

I'm going to be looking hard for a new set of pipes for my 750E come fall.

Does anyone know if 1991 750 pipes will fit a GS750ES? What kind of 750? Not sure... I'm trying to find that out. Its a GSXR or Kat, I know that much....

Guy has a GSX-? 750 frame, engine, rear wheel.... yadda, pretty much the whole bike minus the front forks and controls and I'm trying to see what I can use off of it for a few projects, all of which have the GS700/750 engine though the frames may be different.

Thanks Ray! I'm hoping I can get the whole thing for maybe $200.

Wow, thats expensive. I've got a set thats almost brand new that I'd sell for $125 plus shipping. The muffler is cut off(but included) for shipping purposes, but if you're going to customize it to fit your bike its no big deal. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you pictures.

I'm hoping for around $200 for the whole bike minus the front wheel, forks and controls. $200 is probably a little high as it is but I figure I can use some of the electrics and the carbs and maybe some engine parts at least plus.... you know... who can pass up a parts bike?
