            Sorry for the drop off

            Thanks to all of you that responded to my thread. Life grabbed me by the short hairs but now I'm back. I have decided to push forward with the drag racing itch with the ol L model. May not see any action until next year but will work on it. Will post pics of the project as I proceed.

              Hey Ceder Springs is right next to Stanton. There was a guy in your town selling an old turbo GS a few years back. I can't think of his name. Maybe you know him.

              Like Jimbo posted, Battle of the Bikes on the 17th at Martin. Drag that thing to the track if you have to.

                i say go for it. last week i won first in the trophy class at mid season championships at New York International Raceway Park on a stripped down '78 GS1000L. consistency and good lights will make you a competitor.
