Sorry mate you hve the wrong idea about what i was saying there

I meant put the complete engine in your gs frame & work from there

If you have a look on lodskool suzuki theres a thread or 2 about gsxr heads on gs engines & loads on complete engine swaps, not done the head swap myself but have swapped engines many times if you need advice on that idea

How difficult is the complete motor swap? To be honest, I'd rather go that direction then worrying about my crank and all that jazz.

I'd guess you have to fab motor mounts, otherwise it would be too easy :-) Any info you can give me on this would be really appreciated.

If you want to modify for horsepower & do NOT want to weld the crank I suggest you look for a different bike as I don't recommend not welding a GS crank in even a STOCK rebuild. It is just too inexpensive not to do it & not worth the problems you could have without it. Like I said before, if you have questions about the conversion, call me. Ray.

Thanks for the offer Ray. I just really don't have the scratch to weld the crank right now, which is why a motor swap looks appealing. To be honest, these plans are probably a long way off as the bike is plenty of fun as it is now.
