GS750 Suspension Upgrades?
Does anyone know some good or common upgrades for an '82 GS750? I've heard that you can swap later model suzuki forks, any info on that? Any interchange/swap info? I'd like to at least get dual disks on the front and disks in the rear, maybe there's a similar year or model for that? Any other ideas or links to good sites?Tags: None

Quickie upgrade
Not sure how much you are willing to spend on the 750E, so without a budget "there aint no budget"
Simple stuff going in starges 1:3:5:7:
Stage 1:
Good Tires: Tires Pirelli Sport Demons or Avons
Pirelli Sport Demon $260 (mounted)

Good Front Shocks: Progressive springs
Good Rear Shocks: Progressives will do.

Stage 3:
Make sure head set and swing arm bearings are good; fork oil levels are the same!!! Head properly adjusted for steering damping.
GS1100 aluminum swing arm ($100 or so)
Fork Brace $110: Make sure it is 35mm

Racetech emulators $175

Here are some cheapy emulators for the GS750E (I think)
These will fit the 35mm forks so should work on GS750 forks; I bought some to try on my GS750EX.
Stage 5
Ohlin SU-143 $475 There are cheaper if you pop for these and they fit most all of the 1100E, and 1000's

this list is about $1100 bucks.
