Thanks Ray... maybe. Don't seem to have a whole lot of time these days!

That 750 engine runs strong (just not behind Jim's 1140 , ) I'd love to put an 1100 in it for lots more low down torque.

I am going to try a couple of teeth up on the rear sprocket sometime soon, go to a 16-44 if i can find one.

        Sorry for the hi jack

Thanks BTW I am excited waiting for the tank and side plates

Will post pics later of the mirror brackets I made for the bar ends, using some pieces off an DT250.

I know Greg sorry should've gone without saying, sometimes I'm a dork LOL

Here's the mirrors a buddy of mine helped me create yesterday.
Stems are off an Old DT dual sport use to be the blinker bases.
The mirrors are 3" convex style mirrors 3.99 autozone, using angle we made some nice brackets on back and stuck the mirrors onto them, so far stick up to 140mph.
            \
not like I will be cruising that speed or anything.
I am thoroughly impressed with the GS Frankenbike's handling.
It is like a factory racer in handling characteristics.
ABSOLUTELY HAPPY with the choice of parts and my decision to go the route I did.
Once I get the carbs tuned I will mount up the camera and start some road trips/

Mirrors and gauge setup, and GPS.
I am going to probably hookup the water temp gauge to a oil temp sending unit & use another oil gauge to get an idea of if it is accurate enough to leave connected for that purpose.

How about some OPINIONS ~ THOUGHTS ~ INPUT??????

New tank is on MAN I like it..

              THANKS GREG FOR THE PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The side covers need some minor repairs to a few of the tabs nothing impossible, and paint I kinda dig the flat black blends with the seat.

              one of my favorite pics..

              next pics

I do not like the exhaust can thinking maybe one off the newer GSXR's one of the shorty cans..
See where I go next..this one kinda looks like a Bazooka one of my friends mentioned LOL

Last but not least a Rear Shot- man she looks Phat!!!!!!!!!!!

It's shaping up nicely, they do look better from the rear with a wider tire. +1 on the cannister. Location is okay but it's just a little on the large side. How much did you have to raise the fuel tank?

The tires are same as most sport bikes, 120/70/17 front & 180/55/17 rear

Actually I only removed the front Rubber bushings, & slid some fuel line on the frame stubs to stop the vibes.
The tank has the normal 1/2" space at the rear surprisingly, where the rubber mounts fit.

I have several cans to pick from right now everything is in storage till I get into my new place 15th of next month.
Then it is gonna be crazy trying to sort it all out and sell extra pieces off.
Might be breaking a couple of bikes as well once this is over.

I have an old C&H canister that may just fit the bill as well once I find it as mentioned LOL.

Painted the side panels today they are not an exact match but pretty close till I can shoot the whole thing at the same time.
Just need to clear them in a few days humidity is through the roof right now, and the temps just dropped like crazy.

Only a 160/60 on the back on mine, plenty big enough for me.

                        I want your seat!
Where did you get it is it a Sargent Saddle?

                        Very nice 750!

Looks like a sargent to me... mine is. I had a good experience with them. Upgraded the foam & changed the shape a bit plus added a couple of inches into the seat height to help my poor old knees...

It's a 170 on the back of mine, on a 5.5" rim. Not enough clearance for a 180 but with a thinner chain there's a possibility so might go that way eventually...

                            Nice Salty Monk!
                            I'm diggin it ;-)

Only a few things left now, Chantel would have liked her bike.

I shot this a little bit ago-
                            \
                            1) Need a front fender & chain guard, 2) to recover the seat and 3) paint the side panels to match (they r close right now- but I want them right including the blue).

I like that blue on the wheels. I may have to duplicate it.
