Oh i know he knows his stuff. He's been super helpfull thus far, and i have complete faith in this project. I have simply been asking some of the other guys questions about stuff that Rob hasnt done or may not have tried yet, like the rear brake MC, and retaining the stock location without issues. Ground clearance was a big concern of mine too, as im not a short nor light guy, so losing alot there would be bad news. I have complete faith that I will be good to go tho, with at most maybe a respring/revalve. If that doesnt seem to give me the ride hight im happy with, i have been working on a way to make a drop top clamp which will give me about .8inches back on the forks as well.

I was just thinking you could go to a Busa Shock. They are pretty stiff so that would help for your size?.

Well this would be new to him as well as me.From talk to a few different people i hear it isn`t to bad to do??????.I have to use a gsxr over the older 1100 beacuse of room or lack there of.Have you done the gsxr's or the older 1100?.What is your opinion about doing this in general?.What do you think of the 1052 compared to the 1127?.I am having a hard time finding either one of the motors?.From what i have been told it isn`t as bad as what i went through doing the mods to my bike lol.I need to change the fron two and side motor mounts?.I hope thats all i have to do.If you can give me some advice or help i would like that alot.In your opinion is it worth it?.

first off every combination of frame, arm & wheel has the potential to be slightly different so theres no way anyone can give a definitive answer to exactly whats required, unless 2 people are using exactly the same parts far better to take some hints from those of us who have done it a few times & do your own adding up
secondly a wheel central in a swingarm is not always central to the bike when fitted ..... again measure it up yourself
you can solve this problem relitively easilly with just a little machining & theres no need to buy anything other than your wheel & arm combo !
last thing has anyone actually measured up a 530 chain as well as a 520 or even a 532 ? use chains from the same maker & the results will surprise you i'm sure
just my tuppence worth

Tone is quite correct.
Being that many of the parts sold on eBay and elsewhere are not the parts they are advertised. Many parts look the same but may have differences for eg. the 92 and 93 gsxr wheels. The rotor sides are much diff from each other and require completely diff parts to work.
There is no subsititute for doing your own work because the parts you think you have may not be.

as of today
a few issues..main wiring harness is in the way, front calipers are scraping slightly, rear sets not completed, having trouble finding headlamp brackets, working on mounts for the gauges, still have some carb issues.
