    07-up gsxr rearsets okay?

its been stated the 00-05 (maybe 06 too) rearsets are a relatively easy fab, but what about the later model stuff?

Post up some pics or links to some on Ebay. You may have to relocate mounting points on the frame, but I doubt that an issue in your case. Depending on clearance where the shift lever fits the shaft you may have to flip the linkage over to clear the sprocket cover. That will give you a GP shift pattern, 1st all the way up then down through the gears. That actually gives you more positive upshifts.

Stick with the GSXR 1000 rearsets if you plan on going 06 or newer. Starting in 06 the 600/750 left side rearsets changed as the shifter spline was moved to the top of the sprocket cover.

The shifter shaft on the 1000 is perfect, the shifter shaft on the 600/750 would be way too long. I have a 06 GSXR 750 so trust me on this one.

BTW the rearsets on my GS are 04 GSXR 1000.

Notice the way the shifter is set up in these pics.
