To make it easier I was thinking about ordering everything from JC motors. they only seem to carry K&N and the dimensions they give for the suzuki bikes seems to be wrong...??? Any input on this?? Also on my bike the clearence between the frame rail and the carb seems to be like 3 and a half inches, at least on the outer carbs...the inner 2 have lots of room. I hope the side covers dont get in the way also.....they seem like they would be fine, but I do not want to cut them to make it work.
there has to be a guy on here that has done this to a gs650g.

Hey guys just finished ordering everything. Got the dynojet kit from JC motors on ebay and went with the K&N rc9084 oval offset pods from clemmons trading in VA. I guess I am just brand loyal to K&N(damm marketing), I tried to get myself to order the ones from APE but just couldnt do it. I should have it all by the weekend of the 20th. I will start on it then and post my problems....I mean progress.lol.
Thanks for all your input on this!!

Thanks Kilog...
Mine are pretty clean, I went through them when I did the build. Everything is working fine on them now, so I hope the jet kit will go smoothly. Now I got to figure what to do with al the stuff the bolts to the airbox....sounds like custom brackets time.......

JC Motors !*#$!
OK, so I ordered the parts yesterday. The cheapest place for the pods was thru Clemmons Trading (thanks mriddle) and it shipped today and will be here on the 18th(fedex).
The best price I could find on the dynojet kit was on ebay from JC Motors. It showed they had 5 available, but just to make sure I called them. Spoke with a guy named Phil, he said yup, in stock. Ok so done, purchased on ebay and paid thru paypal right away. I then get an email today from them saying shipping will be delayed.
afternoon,
fyi, there will be a delay in shipping.
should receive in 5-7 business days.
Please let me know if you have any questions, we appreciate your business.

So I called and he said they had none in stock, and could not drop ship it to me. They would have to order from their supplier, have it shipped to them, then they will ship it to me. I told him I needed it buy the weekend of the 20th and he said it should be here.
So my question is , all that shipping around in 5-7 business days......they are in CA....I am in NC, I am pretty sure he said his supplier was in Wisconsin. Yah, I dont think so.
I feel really wronged here, I mean I did everything I could do to verify "in stock" I think. Should I give him all the rope to hang himself with or should I ask for a refund and try to get it elsewhere? But then I have lost at least a day or 2 of shipping time.......grrrr
This is the current listing on ebay, they are totally aware they have none in stock.

Hey there Jwhelan, that would be the the black wrinkle. The bodies of the carbs are chrome with a 120% clear on top. The brackets and choke rod are low gloss black and the red is just high gloss red. The chokes slide great with the rod being powdercoated, "its like buttah". Its all powdercoated finishes with stainless bolts.
Thanks for all your compliments!! I am cheese'n
Also on the shipping problem....just got an email from them, it is being shipped today priority USPS and if thats the case, I should totally have the kit by next weekend!!! I am excited. This weekend I am gooing to fix the motor and get it back in the frame as I now the the new bearing and the gasket set. Then I will strike the airbox and figure out what brakets I need to make for what things bolted to it,.......should be fun
