    91 Katana 600 front end?

I can buy a 91 Katana front end for my cafe 1000 project.

How does this match up for length?

    What about the steering stem?

I know someone had posted up a bunch of info, but I can't seem to find it

My goal is to have a modern front end (although I'd prefer something with standard handlebars) to match up with my aluminum swingarm with a larger back wheel for radial tires. Marzocchi Strada shocks for that period look.

I can get GS 500 and Katana wheels from this same guy.

Steering stem will probably not be an issue. If you have a 4 into 1 you will probably end up banging the pipe some on really big dips in the road and stuff like that. Check the length on it if you can from the center of the axle to the top of the tube and I can compare that to an '88 GSXR front end I have around here.

The Katana front fork assy on mine (with one inch added to the pre-load to get correct sag, I'm 225 dressed) is the same length as the stock fork assy was. Plenty of room for my header. Direct fit except for steering stops, and those were an easy fix.
