Went 5.97 at 111 with a 1.33 60 foot at the Irwindale 1/8 mile last Thurs. night. Not bad for an extended stock swingarm & a 5 1/2 inch tire. It's a flat top piston 1166 with .348 Web cams, stock valve job & valves, & 36 Mikuni RSs. It will run quicker I think once we get the electrical stuff sorted out. Still, a 5.97 equates to a high 9.50 or low 9.60 in the quarter. Chad is rusty too!
This was his first 9 second pass & he had a pretty big smile after it! Ray.

I'm putting a brand new MT 5.5x18 slick on the bike today and heading back to the track Thursday night to see if I can go quicker and to work
on my 60ft times.
I hope to get the bike down to the 1.20 range with a new tire and some lock-up clutch adjustments.Comment

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
