Should have powdercoated sets for about the same price as the raw ones were previously (Henry Ford style - any colour you want as long as it's black )
I anticipate getting my hands on them around about Christmas time at this stage. Will keep everyone posted.

Follow up question: What length of stainless lines will I need for this? Ideally Id like to run lines direct to the individual calipers. Thoughts?

Stock works....
Depending on your bars I seem to remember it being somewhere in the range of 30". to go direct.
The way I do it is run a single to right hand caliper & then run loop over the fender to the left. Cheapest & most effective in my opinion.
I've done the two direct from the MC option - works the same but doesn't look as good & give you a big bulky bit at the bar (double banjo) that you can't get a boot over.1980 GS1000G - Sold

If it's the E model that'll work fine.... If it's the C you'll need to change the fork lowers.
Still waiting for the parts to ship out!

What do i need??
Hi Mr Monk!
I have done a fork convention on my gs 400 to a 97 gsxr usd with the calipers mounted up and the stock hub.
I got some rotors from a friend of mine the other day from a 89 cbr 1000f, but it seems like they are useless for me.
Any suggestions is much appreciated!
Thanx in advance!
Cheers Jorgen

The CBR 600 F3 or F4 rotors work. Blackbird Rotors (CB1100X) rotors also work but they are a larger diameter (310mm).
There is a 320mm CBR900RR rotor that will also fit.
YOu might have to re-drill the holes or at the very least take them out from 6mm to 8mm depending on which ones you get.1980 GS1000G - Sold

Keep the price down. I'm about to order a dual disc front end for my 79 single disc wire wheel GS750. Should I just get a GS750 dual front or will another model bolt up, allow me to keep my wire wheels, and be a substantial upgrade?
Matt
