I bought that brake lever in the auction link above, thanks for the tip! No, it wasn't broken and rewelded, thatis the gap where there is a pivot & spring related to the adjustable leverage dial on the top of the lever, NICE!

it's got an 1100 alloy swinger, & also just noticed some strange horseshoe brace that must stiffen the swinger??? Notice any cbr&ninja parts???!!!??? Hey Salty_Monk,
I'm definitely interested in this mod, have been for a long time actually as I have also felt the need to "grab a handful" sometimes.
What you're offering in your last post is the COMPLETE set? Rotors, brakets, bolts, calipers.... meaning the only thing needed is some elbow grease?

should be around 147mm outside to outside. the hub I just got in the mail is about 104mm wide to the rotor surfaces (calipers don't reach far enough over spoke flanges to give you exact figure), plus 21.5mm offset for each rotor. Actually with the adapters, you are using 17mm rotors plus 5mm adapters, so about 148mm if my hub width guestimation is correct.'77 GS750 920cc heavily modded

I did a quick measurement of the spacing between my fork legs and I have less than 140 mm??
I'm asking because I'd like to fit a wheel that has 135 mm center to center spacing.
Would that fit with the twinpot upgrade?

I believe the 135 mm center to center spacing won't work in a std GS 1000 fork.
The spacing can be reduced to 117 mm with other disks but will it be enough for the twinpot calipers to clear the wheel?
What's the inside caliper overhang from the disk center?
Ideally it should be less than 40 mm ( to be confirmed).sigpicJohn Kat

As the CBR disks have the same offset ( 17 mm) as the original disks, the new spacing is 117+10=127 mm due to the 5 mm spacers.
