I looked up part numbers and found that the caliper mount for your bike and the 600 Kat is the same number so your stock 550 caliper will work with the Kat rotor.

I guess complete got misinterpreted. I only meant upper and lower triples with bar mounts on the top triple, that's why I said complete with those items. I have a pair of rotors but one is warped. You would need calipers, wheel, one rotor, speedo drive, axle, speedo cable, caliper moutning bolts, rotor bolts, and headlight brackets.

I'll hold for now on the front end until I think I can find the other parts and search locally......thanks for the offer.

Do you have a pic of this bike complete? I see no exhaust..... do you have some side shots and rear shots? I'd like some close-ups of the front end if you could do that too for me. Thanks,

            Hi Paul,
I started a thread on this bike here, http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=130937

All of these photos were taken about 7 years ago. The bike has headers on it now but is still out in storage. I can get pics of the front end, What detail do you want me to capture?

I was thinking that photos of where it mounts to the frame collar would help me. I know everyone says its a straight bolt on....but what do I have to modify to keep my guage cluster?

If I recall I have the gauges mounted, I will go out and look in a short bit. The front body is on so it might be tough to get good shots of it.

                    I am back,
The forks are a direct swap as far as the stem bearings. As I recall the used forks I bought came with the lower tapered bearing, same one my 83 GS had so I cleaned it up and just swapped the forks reusing the original upper tapered bearing.
The instrument bracket was cut apart and welded to suit the new mounting on the upper tree.
Here is a pic shot from up under the fairing.

And a shot from the side,

I do not recall details about the ignition switch, I recall fiddling with switches years ago but no details that I recall.

                          Billy,

I purchased everything you said I would still need today for $150.......front wheel, both rotors, both calipers, axle, and speedometer cable. I will not need the headlight mount as I'm using my frame mount for the fairing/headlight. I only still need the speedo drive gear and then front end from you. Please reply with total for your parts and shipping so that I can send you payment ASAP.
