Will 83 GS550E 4-in-1s fit on an 85 GS550L?

My buddy has a set of ratty 4-in-1's on 1983 GS550E parts bike, the sportbike model. This has the same 572cc 4-cylinder engine as mine, a 1985 GS550L. I assume the pipes will bolt on, but dunno if they will fit around my frame. Has anyone had any experience with these?

the header pipe will bolt right up.........the mid pipe and the muff is the difference........you should be good to go!

My 4to1 Kerker header came off a 85 550L and it's now mounted on my 85 550EF..........I had a custom mid pipe built and mounted a totally different muffler on it.......

my recommendation is use the Header, have a mid pipe bent at the local muffler shop to mount the muffler where it goes......my mid pipe cost me $50 installed at the local shop
