Nice work! I've never seen anyone replace the front end on a 450 yet, so good to see what can be done with minimal effort.
Can I ask why you replaced the front end though? Was there something wrong with yours or is there something in particular on the 550 front end you're looking for?1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Thanks Mike, it's a work in long progress but that's what actually makes it fun - you get to try out different ideas and dump those that are impossible to do (with decent costs).
