    Thought some of you guys might get a kick out of this.
    Knowing this crowd, you've probably already seen it.
    Maximum power: 108,920 hp at 102 rpm
    Maximum torque: 5,608,312 lb/ft at 102rpm

    I wonder how fast the ships these are made for can go. But what makes me shudder more than the size/weight of the engine is the amount of space/weight allowance that would have to be designed for fuel. 1,660 gallons/hour?!?

      I love that stuff. I am a big fan of diesel engines and believe they are the best short term answer. My TDI jetta will go 760 miles on a tank and emit 25% less Co2 than a gasser if that matters. Dan

          WOW! Insane proportions. Everything made to last must be first on their priority. Can you imagine having to do a rebuild on that beast?
