    tire sizes

    hey all
got a question about tire size
    on my 77 gs750 e i run a 130/90/17
i need a new tire and was looking at the pirelli sport demon
was wondering if anyone has tryed the 130/70/17 and whether or not it has any adverse affects on handling.

Try "pirelli sport demon" in the search function. Looks like most people rollin on them like them.

The tire will be the same width, but will be slightly shorter due to the 70% sidewalls instead of the 90%.

They are nice tires and not too expensive.

Use the 130/90-17. The 130/70 is intended for a much wider rim. Truth be told, even the 130/90-17 is somewhat wider than the original tire.

The Pirellis are probably the absolute stickiest rubber available in vintage sizes. You'll love them.

Avon RoadRiders last a lot longer and are significantly cheaper.
