    Couple of suspension questions...

I know there are a bazillion threads about suspension, but there's so much information that it's hard to get it all put together (and also, I'll be honest, it's one of the things that I just don't know enough about to be able to make sense out of all the information that is out there).

Anyway, here's the deal. I'd like to look into upgrading my suspension. Progressive springs in my forks, and new shock/springs in the rear. I'm a bigger dude (weigh about 260ish). I like a nice, firm, not bouncy ride that is solid around corners.

What components would be best for me?

The MDI shocks have generally been well-reviewed, esp. by riders north of 230 lbs. Also available in +1 " length, I think, which will quicken the steering a little.
    Check it....

On a budget; then go in this order:

1.) Cut the front springs and add a space5 to stiffen that (try 3-4" or ask Nissem) up new fork oil ($15 for oil; PVC is free).
      2.) MDI rear shocks ($85)
3.) Avon Road rider AM26 tires ($160 delivered last I checked)
4.) Next up Front fork Brace ($95)
5.) Next would be to do knock off 35mm cartridge emulators ($90)

Then do the cheap 1/4 throttle mod and you will be flying
