    [QUOTE=pontiacstogo;1086462]Just as a follow up - I had the tank and side panels off today to fit an oil cooler so I thought I'd take some pictures of the damper;

    Great pics.

      the mounting bracket is made from a piece of dom tubing and a 3/8 socket head cap screw that is welded. it is held on by 6 stainless 1/4-28 socket head cap screws. the fork mount is oem . i can make you one of these brackets if you need for the cost of materials and shipping.
      That would be great. I will e.mail you.

          Would a fork mounted headlight work with this?

          Hi there love the pics,my bike is going to a Friend that welds this week for the same mod,nothing like riding with the new sport bikes and having to let off at 140 due to head shakes here and there.Has anyone used this set up on an 1983 E model Gs1100 with large headlight and gsxr 55mm forks.I'm mounting my bracket low for the stabilizer so i can fit the head light pics coming soon.
