Im trying to put pods on my gs550l but the last letter seems to be the problem. Everyone i talk to that has them says they fit but apparently the l frame is different? Anyone with an l or more experience then me can pointme in the right direction. lol Ive tried and failed this is me calling for help from u smarter folks!

So you are worried about the pods not fitting length wise? The frame shouldn't pose any problems. when you remove the air box you should have plenty of room. I think the frame is the same 550 to my 650 and I had no problems. My bike is a 82 650 GL if that helps. I used emgo filters but I will be putting on real K&Ns this winter. I think the oil in a K&N will help with rain water in the filter. Hope this helps.

Im just afraid to order and be wrong!!! Yes length wise i think i measure 3 inches till the outer carbs filters will hit that what im worried about ideas?
