Lately i have been thinking about selling mine. 1100 motor i think it used to be a track bike but not sure. The street fighter idea has also been kicked around. I don't ride it that much, kind of a pain in town but on the interstate it is really fun.

I thought us Brits were known for hacking up bikes. Taking the best bits from each bike and putting together a better bike. Eg. Triton, Norvin etc.
So now I have to start hunting for parts again seeing as I am not allowed to touch the GSXR!!
Oh well I will have to keep it and ride it on sunny days. Dammm. lol

      Cheers

We are... just a shame to see that one go.

If you have problems getting parts in Canada or stuff shipped into Canada from USA Ebay I might be able to ship parts to you from here (at your risk). Lots of GSXR stuff available.

We are I'm well known fo not worrying about taking a grinder to anything but that even i would draw the line at a mint 1100 slabby or a 1000, 1100 katana

I'd say go find a slabby 750 to bits or even better a slingshot as they have far better suspension etc i'll help ya then

Pauly, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't do anything to that beautiful Ole Slabby! (Except drop in a set of Racetech 1.0 kg springs and cartridge emulators in the front end, and get an Ohlins or Penske for the rear.) Stainless brake lines up front...Pilot Road 2's and a few other options for good, modern rubber...she'd smoke 90% of all the bikes out there, since you really know how to ride!

                  What a gorgeous old bike!!
