    Fork brace for '79 GS1000

The only place I could find a fork brace in the U.S. was at http://www.spec2.com/chassis.html

It is the Telefix. Is that the one I should use? I had a Superbrace (nice) on my Eliminator 900, but I see they don't make it anymore, nor do they make one for a
    GS 1000.

What about having one made? Or should I just buy the Telefix?

Thanks again for all of the suggestions!

The telefix gets pretty good reviews. I use a Tarozzi & like it a lot. It's $30 cheaper - other than that I'd go with either.

        Fork brace

I've been using a Telefix on my GS1000 since new. I noticed a big difference making sharp turns on bumpy roads. It used to feel like the front tire was wanting to slip but the brace stopped that. Plus it's an easy install.

          Thanks for the quick response.
I just got back to the computer and figured I'd start looking for more info.

Sounds like you pretty much narrowed it down, plus I'm glad not to have to make an overseas order. Besides shipping, the exchange rate sucks right now!
