What other year exhaust will fit the GS's

    It would likely fit although you may have to modify the final hanger location. This is Tone's OEM Bandit pipe on an GSX1100 (like GS1100/1150) and GSX750 (like a us 83 model GS750)

    If you go through the thread, the main diff at the head is that the flanges need to be slotted. Oil cooler GSXR headers use bolt spacings that are narrower than GS 16V (80-82)750/(80-83)1100/(84-86)1150. From V&H pro pipe applications I think all 8V 1000's are also the same as the 16V just mentioned. Bandit pipes fit GSXR's; The GSXR are a perfect fit for the 83 GS750 as previously mentioned by Bill Ricks.

    The price of a bandit pipe is easilt determined by looking and bidding on the selection on ebay. Take your pick of quality they are usually under $100 for Stainless headers.

    If some one gets one they should document the fitting process. here for others.
